POSITION SUMMARY:This Graphic Designer/ Marketing Communications Specialist will work closely with the Marketing team and Creative Services Manager to support the Regal Rexnord IPS Brands, on a global basis, with graphic design for print and digital venues. Projects include but are not limited to design and production of print and digital advertising, catalogs, flyers, brochures, service manuals, managing translations, PowerPoint presentations and trade show design support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Graphic Designer/ Marketing Communications Specialist will assist the marketing team with a number of projects to support the organization’s needs. Projects related to these responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):Support IPS brands and corporate on a global basis within the Regal Rexnord brand standards.Manages content approval process within Workfront for all design work.Responsible for administration and maintenance of tools and systems related to marketing such as Literature site, Marcom Project Log, Acquia DAM, Workfront. etc.Ensure the consistency of marketing materials and collaterals across all platforms. Ensure that all creative marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines.Contribute and coordinate with 3rd party contacts, Product and Sales team to assure an effective trade show including design, materials, registration, set-up/tear down and transportation of booth exhibit.Analyze data to determine campaign efficiencyContributes to team effort by performing related tasks as required.Technical Skills:Mastery of core design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.)Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Workfront and Digital Asset Management is a Plus.Understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, composition & layout, visual hierarchy grid systems, branding systems)Print production knowledge (CMYK v RGB, bleeds, margins, safe zones, DPI requirements, file packaging, exporting press-ready PDFs, understanding paper types and finishes)Working knowledge in Digital & Web asset production (exporting responsive assets, Basic HTML/CSS awareness, creating social media graphics, optimizing images for web performance) preferred.Working knowledge in File management & version control (Proper naming conventions, use of metadata, organized layer structures, packaging files for handoff, use of remote global servers, maintaining brand consistency through templates and reusable components) preferred.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree in graphic design is required; bachelor’s degree in graphic design is preferred.A minimum of 5 years related work experience is required.Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
