Summary Of Responsibilities Responsible for managing the daily activities and operations required to operate a fully effective trade compliance program to ensure company compliance with US regulatory and internal policy requirements relating to ECCN and HTS classification of technology and encryption products, US export licensing, Restricted Parties List screening and Hazmat compliance classification. Product classification and Compliance Operations Set clear objectives and priorities for the team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Organize priorities, allocation or repurposing of team resources to meet operational objectives for the department or function. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and contingency plans. Export Audit, Training and Administration Develop and implement audit plans to assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. Define audit scope, objectives, and methodologies tailored to the operational or functional area being evaluated. Identify root causes, corrective and preventative actions Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations. Performance Metrics and Analysis Develop performance metrics for measuring service level provided to business and measuring team performance Utilize analytical tools and techniques to track and evaluate performance, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. Interpret complex data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Ensure analysis is actionable, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders and teams. Develop action plans as a result of data analysis, by creating and/or compiling data or schedule; program, service and/or product recommendations as well as other financial or policy data. Team leadership and management Manages teams and operations to address complex challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives across global workstreams. Align team with company vision and strategy Develop, motivate and empower team to build bench strength and team capabilities Job Qualifications And Educational Requirements Bachelor&aposs degree or equivalent experience in export administration or relevant field. 4-5 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge and experience with U.S. Export Regulations and Operations including but not limited to U.S. Export Regulations (EAR), Export Licensing, Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), OFAC and U.S. Customs Regulations a plus. Demonstrate strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make well-informed data driven decisions. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, efficiency, or innovation within projects and processes.
