We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Optometry Insurance A/R Specialist to join our remote billing team. This full-time role involves overseeing insurance accounts receivable functions specific to optometry services, including denial resolution, claim resubmissions, and managing aged A/R. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining clear and professional communication. Responsibilities Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, specifically for optical services Review and resolve claim denials and resubmit corrected claims Analyze and manage aged A/R reports to ensure proper resolution and payment Utilize billing software such as EyeCloudPro (or similar systems) Provide daily updates and maintain accurate tracking of activities Collaborate with team members via email, phone, and Zoom Qualifications Prior experience in optical insurance billing and A/R follow-up Strong understanding of denial management and claim resubmission Familiarity with U.S. billing systems (EyeCloudPro preferred) Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) Excellent written English and communication skills Self-driven with strong time management and organizational skills Full-time availability during U.S. business hours Direct hire only - agencies and subcontractors will not be considered Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field Experience working in a healthcare billing environment Previous remote work experience with accountability and clear reporting Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a remote optometry billing role Background working with multiple insurance payers and vision plans Show more Show less
