- Implement strategic and annual SCM goals and action plans to fully support the Subsidiaries' goals and priorities.
- Guides the Subsidiaries in the development of their annual cost center goals and action plans in alignment with SCM and Meralco's business objectives, strategies, action plans and priorities.
- Serves as single-point-of-contact (SPOC)/relationship manager and SCM advisor for Meralco Subsidiaries, providing oversight and guidance in strategic and operational activities; oversees and provides guidance in the implementation of the SCM end-to-end process
- Consolidates all contracted services of the Subsidiaries.
- Provides inputs to the review and validation of the Subsidiaries' purchases and validity of spend transactions based on existing policies and guidelines.
- Monitors and provides inputs to the evaluation of the Subsidiaries' SCM performance vis-a-vis identified KPIs and recommends ways and measures to improve performance.
- Provides operation support to a Subsidiaries' SCM team if/when needed.
- Provides support in the facilitation of the overall management, from planning to monitoring, of all Subsidiaries' short-, mid-, and long-term goals and objectives corresponding to the formulated requirement plan, project line-ups, and forecasted requirements.
- Monitors and ensures project implementations based on set priorities and in compliance with the company's project management and execution excellence methodologies.
- Provides support in overseeing and consolidating the Subsidiaries' expenditures for the purchases of goods and services.
- Ensures compliance of Subsidiaries to the standard end-to-end supply chain processes and other related policies and guidelines of Meralco.
- Provides inputs to the performance assessment of the Subsidiaries' SCM teams in adherence to the SCM standards, policies, guidelines, and processes.
- Reviews and evaluates recommended changes/updates in the Subsidiaries' supply chain processes, policies, and guidelines.
- Provides support in ensuring the conduct of supply chain-related annual risk reviews and implementation of risk mitigation strategies across all of the subsidiaries.
- Preferably with at least two (2) years' experience in supply chain management
- Registered Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineer, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
- Exhibits high level of integrity and good moral character
- Ability to collaborate with other offices, business units of the organization, organizing and planning exercises and/or horizontal joint effort activities
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and time-sensitive environment
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and industry data sources
- Ability to be innovative in issues related to category management, strategic sourcing, vendor relationship, cost modelling, contract and risk management and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge in contract management, data analysis, rates and pricing, benchmark offers, and calculation of financial impacts of changes to a contract or the conversion of product or services as required
