Analyst should have an acceptable understanding of material ESG topics on a per company basis.Constantly endeavor to develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors consume this information to make investment decisions.Support GHG foot printing projectsSupport CSRD and other regulatory reporting projectsDevelop and maintain corporate and investor ESG data setsDevelop standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clientsConduct corporate ESG rating review exercisesUpdate descriptions of procedures and internal processesOther ad-hoc tasks in relation to the Nasdaq Sustainability and Climate Advisory teamWhat We ExpectBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science or a related field is highly preferredAt least two (2) years of proven experience in financial services, ESG research/Sustainable finance/Credit Ratings, thinktanks focused on sustainability, or academic research institutes.An advanced user of Excel & PowerPoint and in general tech-savvyFluency in English with highly effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenA well-organized person, able to balance multiple assignments at onceStrong research skills (this includes planning and delivery, effective communications, multi-tasking, and time management).High analytical skills with an ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detailA great teammate who thrives in a collaborative and international work environmentAbility to work independently while adhering to deadlines and balancing production volumes with high quality.A colleague who shows initiative and is driven towards continuous improvementOperate within local working hoursWhat Would Be HelpfulBeing familiar working with dataProficiency in calculating scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, with demonstrated experience in key topic areas including setting inventory boundaries and accounting for supply chain emissions using multiple approaches (EEIO, LCA, supplier-specific data)Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate viewpointsComfortable working in a team environment across hierarchies, functions & geographiesKnowledge of ESG regulations, ESG rating agencies & ESG investment strategiesHaving a track record of working successfully independently and within a teamDoes It Sound Like You?Please follow through by clicking the “Apply” link and submitting your application.
