Job Title: Head Chef Location: Philippines BGC Industry: Private Villa Work Arrangement: Stay-in at Villa Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Chef to lead the culinary operations of a private villa. The ideal candidate must be specialize in Chinese cuisine, knowledge of Western cuisine, while additional culinary specializations will be considered a plus. This role requires a hands-on culinary leader with fine dining or 5-star hotel experience, excellent kitchen management skills, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and service. The position requires the candidate to stay in at the villa. Experience serving in private households or exclusive residences will be considered a strong advantage. The role is open to qualified local and foreign candidates who meet the required profile. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. Specialize in Chinese cuisine while managing menus that also include Western and other international cuisines. Plan, develop, and update menus according to the clubs standards and members preferences. Prepare meals for guests and special occasions in a private and high-standard environment. Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain professional performance and discipline. Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Manage kitchen costs, inventory, and supplier coordination effectively. Maintain smooth kitchen workflow and timely service, especially during peak hours. Work closely with management and villa operations team to meet members expectations. Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef / Senior Sous Chef in: 5-star hotels, fine dining restaurants, or high-end private clubs. Strong expertise in Chinese cuisine is mandatory. Good knowledge of Western cuisine is required; experience in other cuisines is an advantage. Experience serving private households, private clubs, or luxury residences will be considered a plus. Willingness and ability to stay in at the villa as part of the role requirement. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead multicultural kitchen teams. Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen compliance. Fluent in English for daily communication with management and team members. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a high-standard, confidential service environment.
