
Tax Compliance Specialist

- Prepare tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and other local taxes.
- Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely remittance of tax payments to avoid penalties.
- Assist in handling tax audits and liaising with tax authorities.
- Gather and organize documentation to support tax positions during audits.
- Assist in addressing tax notices, ensuring prompt resolution of issues raised by tax authorities.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory updates and ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including the submission of required reports to government agencies (e.g., SEC, BIR, LGUs, etc.).
- Maintain a calendar of filing deadlines for all statutory and compliance requirements.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the development and update of tax and compliance-related company policies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax filings, payments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Ensure documentation is easily accessible for internal or external audit purposes.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in tax preparation, filing, and compliance.
- Familiarity with BIR e-filing systems and other regulatory platforms.
- Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel in particular).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work onsite from Mondays to Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM
