About The Job The Asset Manager serves as the official oversight lead for all collateral residing in partner merchants. Since these units are 'Entrusted Assets,' the Manager's objective is to ensure that dealer custody does not result in asset 'leakage' or value loss. Their primary duty is to manage the performance of the team, ensure consistency across regions, and maintain high-level accountability for the assets entrusted to dealers. What You'll Do Team Leadership & Performance Oversight Management: Directly supervises the Asset Coordinators per area to ensure standardized execution of the liquidation cycles. KPI Accountability: Responsible for the team's collective success in meeting OC/CR delivery by Merchants (30-day period), reducing repossessed unit inventory aging, and clearing the repossessed unit inventory through cash and refinancing. Incentive Management: Oversees the implementation and accuracy of tippers for repo units to Merchant front-liners to ensure they are driving sales as intended. Strategic Dealer & Merchant Governance Custody Controls: Develops the policies for 'Entrustment' to ensure that any collateral held by dealers is legally protected and physically maintained. Merchant Audit Program: Directs Asset Coordinators to conduct systematic spot-audits. These audits ensure that all foreclosed assets and their corresponding legal 'Security Kits'-including Notarized Special Power of Attorney (SPA), Notarized Security Agreements, Original OR/CR, and Chassis/Engine Stencils-are physically present, legally compliant, and maintained in 'Display-Ready' condition with accurate market pricing. Channel Escalation: Makes the final decision on pulling units from Merchants that fail to perform, coordinating the bulk transfer to the (Third Party) after the timeframe. Document Security & Audit Compliance Vault Oversight: Acts as the primary signatory for the 'Dual-Control' vault system, ensuring that original OR/CRs are never released until payment is fully cleared by Finance. And act as a Signatory for the SPA and Security Agreement Regulatory Liaison: Leads the team through internal and external audits, ensuring a 100% match between physical inventory in the field and legal documentation in the office. Scaling & Business Expansion Volume Planning: Forecasts and prepares the team's infrastructure (manpower and storage) to handle the projected higher volume of repo units resulting from the two-wheeler business expansion. Process Optimization: Identifies and resolves area-level bottlenecks, such as appraisal disputes between Collections and Merchants, to accelerate the 'Day 1' sales start. PPSR Registration & Security Perfection National Registry Management: Oversees the timely registration of all financed assets in the Personal Property Security Registry (PPSR) to establish the company's legal priority over the collateral. Lien Accuracy: Verifies that Asset Coordinators have correctly encoded Engine/Chassis numbers in the PPSR to prevent competing claims from other creditors or unauthorized buyers. Registration Continuity: Ensures that PPSR filings are maintained, amended, or discharged only upon full liquidation or loan settlement, protecting the company's 'first-in-line' status during the 60-day repo cycle. Digital Sales Strategy & Channel Management Social Media & Marketplace Governance: Mandates and monitors that Asset Coordinators post all repo units across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Marketplace), company websites, and industry-specific channels immediately following after the waiver of redemption has been signed by the client. Multi-Channel Strategy: Strategizes the optimal mix of sales channels-balancing walk-ins at merchant stores with digital leads-to ensure maximum visibility for the 60-day liquidation window. Lead Generation Oversight: Tracks the volume of inquiries generated from digital postings to ensure coordinators are effectively marketing the assets to a wide buyer pool. Performance-Based Incentive Engineering Incentive Scheme Design: Develops and continuously optimizes 'compelling' bonus structures for Merchant Front-liners to prioritize Home Credit (HC) repo units over new inventory. Refinancing Push: Strategizes specific bonuses for sales closed via Refinancing , ensuring the team prioritizes higher-margin financial products over simple cash sales. Team KPI Management: Rewards Asset Coordinators based on document management and repossessed bikes sales.
