Our work involves building the world's first completely autonomous asset-securing process, world-class risk models for underwriting, and an incredibly smooth & efficient product experience for consumers to apply, activate, and manage their credit cards. We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven accounting manager who wants to work with complex data to review and reconcile daily credit card activity and manage the Accounting Team with other accounting/finance related tasks. You will report directly to the Controller and lead a team of 5 accounting analysts. We think speed drives quality Responsibilities Manage Team of 5 accounting analysts Review own daily reconciliation process for credit card transactions; including purchases, accrued interest, fees, and payments Review own daily reconciliation process for Deposit transactions; including incoming deposits, withdrawals, reward redemptions, and interchange transactions. Prepare franchise and tax related filings quarterly and annually Assisting the Controller with managing month end close, including, reviewing / posting card related entries, and preparing monthly/quarterly investor reporting to meet internal timelines. Providing the Controller with financial audit support. Continue to help develop and support your direct reports by providing periodic one on ones and setting / measuring against individual and company goals. Qualifications Must have experience in a lending institution Prior experience managing an accounting team Prior experience with reconciling credit card transactions Prior experience with month-end close processes and GAAP Proficient with Excel Superb communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills Proficiency, speed and accuracy in written communication Fluency, clarity and good diction in English Familiarity with NetSuite, Zip, or Ramp is a plus Flexibility to work US Pacific time 8 AM to 4 PM (with a half hour break time in between) Great organizational skills & time management abilities Experience using communication tools such as (ZenDesk), task management tools, Google Drive, Email Detail Oriented - we're a financial services technology company so being correct about the details matter Bachelor's Degree - in Accounting or Finance. CPA is a plus. Public accounting experience is highly valued Must be based in the Philippines Location : HQ - Campbell, CA (San Francisco Bay Area).
