Project Role description:
Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will oversee the design, construction, and configuration of applications, ensuring that they meet the needs of stakeholders. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members, addressing technical challenges, and guiding the project towards successful completion while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in application development.
- Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct regular reviews of project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application performance.Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM Db2, IBM Information Management System (IMS) Database.
- Strong understanding of application development life cycle and methodologies.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications.
- Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.

The candidate should have minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
Strong understanding of application development life cycle and methodologies.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications.
Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.
Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
