Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Accountant/Supervisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Financial Close & Reporting: Design and maintain a structured close workbook, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. Review and oversee the work of bookkeeping and accounting staff. Financial Analysis: Analyze Income Statements and Balance Sheets to identify errors, anomalies, or unusual trends, ensuring data integrity. Month-End Close Process: Demonstrate expertise in closing the books while designing and implementing tailored month-end close processes based on accounting best practices. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with CFOs to provide actionable insights through cash flow analysis and financial consulting. Client Engagement: Participate in consulting meetings, deliver financial analyses, and build strong client relationships. Process Management: Design, implement, and optimize accounting processes in line with best practices. Team Leadership: Delegate tasks, mentor junior team members, and foster a high-performing team environment. Technology Proficiency: Quickly learn and adapt to new software (QBO, Bill.com, Excel, etc.) while working efficiently across platforms. Communication & Proactivity: Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and team members, anticipating needs and addressing challenges before they arise. Organization & Prioritization: Manage multiple deadlines, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting. Team Building: Attend annual in-person conferences to strengthen collaboration and team culture. Qualifications: Experience: Senior Accountant/Supervisor-level experience with a focus on financial review and analysis (not data entry). Technical Skills: Proficiency in QBO, Bill.com, and Excel required; QB Desktop, Xero, Intacct, or NetSuite preferred. Accounting Expertise: Deep understanding of accounting theory and ability to optimize close processes. Soft Skills: Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities. Must be self-directed, adaptable, and exercise sound judgment. Client-Facing Skills: Comfortable presenting financial insights and engaging in consulting discussions. Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent is a plus.
