Job Description:We are seeking a Finance Business Partner / Manager to lead and manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (O2C), Accounts Payable (P2P), and General Ledger (R2R) operations.This role will act as the primary finance operations partner to the client, ensuring strong process governance, statutory compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations, and alignment with global accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP).The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA, team leadership, financial controls, and continuous improvement, while also contributing to transformation and automation initiatives.✅ Roles & Responsibilities:o Own end-to-end delivery of AR (O2C), AP (P2P), and GL (R2R) processes.o Ensure accurate and timely Billing, collections, and cash application; Vendor payments and invoice processing; Journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closureso Drive adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics.o Act as escalation point for operational and client issues.o Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), Local tax requirements (VAT, withholding tax, BIR filings, statutory reports).o Coordinate with Client finance teams, external auditors and tax consultants as required.o Support statutory audits and ensure audit readiness throughout the year.o Ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts and proper aging controls.o Ensure alignment with IFRS where applicable.o Support group reporting requirements and consolidation needs.o Ensure proper documentation of accounting policies and SOPs.o Partner with client finance leadership on accounting interpretations and changes.o Design and maintain: Strong internal controls, Segregation of duties & Approval workflows and audit trailso Identify control gaps and implement corrective actions.o Lead periodic process reviews and risk assessments.o Lead and manage multi-level finance teams across AR/AP/GL.o Provide coaching on accounting concepts, ERP usage & Process compliance and qualityo Support performance management, training plans, and succession planning.o Build strong engagement and accountability culture.o Drive process optimization using Lean principles, Automation opportunities, System enhancementso Use data and dashboards to Track performance, identify bottlenecks, Improve cash flow and working capitalo Actively support client and Eastvantage innovation initiatives.o Act as functional SME for SAP S/4HANA (mandatory): O2C, P2P, and FI moduleso Support UAT, system upgrades, and process configuration discussions.o Work with reporting tools, workflow systems, and RPA where applicable.o Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting analytics.Skills & Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / commerce.· CPA (Philippines) strongly preferred.· Additional certifications (CMA, ACCA, CIMA) are an advantage.· 8–12 years of progressive experience in: Finance & Accounting Operations, Shared Services / BPO / Captive environments preferred· Strong hands-on leadership across: AR, AP, and GL processes· Experience supporting: Statutory reporting, Tax compliance, Audits· Proven exposure to IFRS / US GAAP environments· Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA is mandatoryCompetencies & Personal Attributes· Strong accounting and financial control mindset.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Client-facing communication and stakeholder management.· Ability to balance operations with transformation.· Decision-making under pressure in a dynamic environment.· High ownership, accountability, and integrity.· Business partner mindset — not just operations manager.· Continuous improvement and innovation driven.· Strong people developer and team motivator.· Detail-oriented but able to think strategically.· Comfortable working in global delivery models.
