Role Description This role is part of Arcadis' Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis' offices globally. Role Accountabilities Responsible for managing technical aspects of smaller and/or less complex tasks or components of largest tasks, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives Manage small teams of single (own) discipline of engineers and technicians Operate as an experienced, competent professional on work (eg detailed engineering tasks involving design, calculation) Maintain a theoretical approach to the application of technology in engineering practice Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure integrity of the overall design Undertake verification checking of elements of work Have advanced proficiency with relevant desktop applications including the ability to use a range of computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems and presenting results Possess excellent time management skills consistently demonstrated through performance on projects Have a knowledge of sustainable development best practice Qualifications And Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent and formally licensed to act as a professional engineer (if required in their Arcadis GEC country) Excellent in written and oral English language Possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience Strong civil structural design experience using Australian codes and standards Eg AS5.100 or similar; experience in VIC and RMS will be highly regarded Demonstrated experience of working independently and the ability to work in a complex challenging environment Proficient in Design Software (eg Spacegass, Microstran) Knowledgeable in Autocadd or similar (Revit, Microstation) Why Arcadis We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
