This Vision is brought to life by our Values – Care, Respect, Integrity, Performance and Teamwork – which put our people, host communities, the environment and our stakeholders at the forefront of our decision-making.Check us out - www.oceanagold.comJob DescriptionSeeking two (2) suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Specialists – Community Development (CDF Projects) on a Project – based employment to work with the CDF Project Team in the implementation of the CDF for Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino. One will be based at Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya and another at Cabarroguis, Quirino. They will report to the Superintendent – External Affairs and Communications.Key tasks and responsibilities:
  • Facilitates the planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation of all community programs/projects under the Community Development Fund
  • Facilitates the conduct of impact assessment of the CDF Projects on the community/stakeholders
  • Implements information, education, and communication programs and activities to increase awareness of the Didipio Mine;
  • Responsible in data gathering for reports required by government regulations
  • Provides assistance to CDF beneficiaries in connection with CDF implementation
  • Engages with stakeholders, including attendance at meetings and assemblies and presentation of reports
  • Ensures timely submission of reports on the status of various community projects and other CDF matters
  • Prepares and organizes all necessary documents needed prior to, during and after the implementation of community infrastructure projects
  • Assists in the maintenance of up-to-date project database for the Community Development Fund (CDF) project
Qualifications
  • Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way
  • Graduate of Social Science – related (e.g. Social Science, Human Ecology, Community Development, Psychology, etc.) courses
  • At least two (2) years relevant work experience, preferably in a mining set-up
  • At least one (1) year relevant experience in implementing community development and other social-related projects
  • With a valid Professional Driver’s License and National Certificate in Driving is an advantage
  • Professional work ethics and behaviour
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in implementing social development and other social-related projects
  • Knowledge in basic computer operation MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Drive for continuous improvement and innovation
