If applicable, maybe assigned to review and evaluate the work of other staff on client engagements or within the team. Key Responsibilities: Plan effective auditing processes/approach Audit financial statements of fund clients and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Assess risk management tactics. Report systematic errors or fraud indicators. Investigate specific issues regulatory bodies bring forward. Explain audit findings and recommend solutions. Handles review and evaluation of tasks performed by assigned direct reports. Performs detailed working papers which cannot be delegated to other junior staff members. Assists in other technical projects as directed. Participates in proper planning and scheduling of work assignments for team members on client engagements or within the team. Works with client&aposs personnel and fund administrator in providing the services necessary to meet client&aposs needs. Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client&aposs problems Skills/Attributes Required: Holds CPA license Has at least three (3) years of work experience. Has knowledge of fund accounting related to hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds Has at least one (1) year experience in the Alternative Investments Industry and US GAAP financial reporting Has experience reviewing tasks of other team members. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, in a highly automated environment, with strict monthly reporting deadlines.
