We’re looking for a senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build solutions for two well-positioned business intelligence web applications in the Insurtech industry. You’ll help us ship frequently, iterate intelligently, and scale the platform with confidence.
This role is ideal for a builder who loves owning the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment and enjoys a diverse set of challenges each day. This role reports directly to the President.Responsibilities
● Own feature development end-to-end across the stack.
● Design and scale backend services using Next.js, Postgres, and Python.
● Build responsive, intuitive UIs in React/Next.js.
● Integrate with internal and external APIs.
● Set up DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
● Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
● Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
● Implement testing for effective code coverage.
● Migrate legacy frameworks to current solutions (i.e. Angular to React/Next.js).
● Collaborate directly with a small, driven team and a humble technical founder.What We’re Looking For
● 5–10 years of full-stack development experience.
● Strong database design and performance tuning (particularly complex SQL queries).
● Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS and/or GCP).
● Comfort navigating ambiguous business requirements and a willingness to ask questions when more information is needed.
● Fast learner, open to AI-assisted tooling, able to keep up with new ways to solve problems.
● Focused on delivery of solutions, not worried about always being on the bleeding edge of technology.
● No ego about code. Just wants to build great software.
● Bonus: experience working with financial industry data and APIs.
