Accounting Assistant

• Prepares Journal Voucher & bookkeeping
• Checking of financial reports and other related documents such as, but not limited to, Vendor invoices, Employee reimbursements, Cash Advance, Expense Reports, Liquidations, etc.
• Assists in the periodic Physical Inventory count
• Processes & completes payments to suppliers
• Communicates with counterparties regarding all aspects of accounts payables such as payment & invoice reconciliation
• Participates in regular audit by providing the necessary documents & information needed
• Assists with the preparation of financial statements & reports
• Monitors all aspects of the collection of outstanding debts owed to a company, reconciles collections and ensure proper application to customer accounts
• Daily deposit of branch cash collections on designated bank accounts
• Reconciles daily bank daily bank balances by verifying data entries
• Timely research and escalation of ageing receivables, unidentified payments for application to invoices or client refund
• Manage and handle customer calls related to general inquiry and customer payments
• Complete other job functions, special projects, and/or reports as assigned to support the achievement of Finances objectives and priorities.
