We are looking for someone with a growth mindset who is excited to help evolve and scale operational finance processes at a high-growth tech startup with SaaS characteristics. This role reports into our Financial Controller.Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounting close process, including preparing monthly financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) and working papers consistent with US GAAP and PFRS, posting journal entries and providing supporting documentation during close, and analyzing monthly variances.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure reconciling items are properly documented, resolved in a timely manner and adjustments are prepared.
Propose and support new cross-functional processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Collaborate and partner with other teams to address issues.
Lead key cash flow activities including AP, credit card spend and expense reimbursements, and payroll
Assist with annual financial statement audit including review of schedules/supporting documentation prior to submission to auditors.
Oversee PH tax and compliance matters: organize internal documentation, ensure key filing deadlines are met, and oversee statutory business activity and financial reports to maintain compliance with BIR
Conduct technical accounting research
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Who You Are

BSc in Accountancy or Management Accounting
CPA preferred
Strong knowledge of PH applicable laws, codes, and regulations (BIR and Philippines Financial Reporting Standards) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Netsuite experience a must, familiarity with Numeric and Ramp a plus
At least 5 years professional experience, preferably in a startup SaaS/BPO industry
Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and desire to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment even during times of ambiguity, and learn process quickly
Proficient computer, organizational, analytical, research and problem solving skills
AI curious
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
