Overview The Operations Academy Team operates within the Operations Performance Enablement Group. Our mission is to support LSEG Operations employees through their Career lifecycle, onboarding new employees, building technical skills, embedding ways of working, and developing operations leaders. Through targeted, relevant, impactful, and timely learning solutions, we cultivate growth and excellence in Operations. The Learning Manager for Financial Markets and Products Skills Development team will report to the Director of Operations Academy and lead a team of learning professionals who specialize in the Financial Markets and the different Business Solutions of LSEG. This team is responsible for designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining global learning programs that are targeted, efficient, cost-effective, and ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience aligned with business priorities. Responsibilities Lead a team of Learning Specialists, Senior Learning Consultants, and Learning Consultants across operational centers in Manila, Bangalore, Gdynia, and Cape Town. Continuously provide support to team members in building and expanding their competencies, knowledge, and skills which are relevant to the business requirements by conducting semi-annual developmental check-ins to ensure progress. Establish and supervise key performance indicators in partnership with the Program Managers to measure the efficiency of learning programs and their impact on employee performance and organizational goals. Serve as a Learning Business Partner and effectively engage customers to help cultivate a culture of continuous learning by identifying areas for improvement and defining action plans for learning in their respective area of business. Collaborate with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and other Learning Partners across LSEG to develop new learning programs and maintain existing ones, regularly conducting reviews to ensure their relevance. Apply your expertise in the latest Learning & Development industry trends to provide learning solutions that support business priorities and professional growth for Operations employees. Partner with industry experts, consultants, and educational institutions to bring in fresh perspectives and innovative knowledge to the training programs. Regularly provide updates to customers on learning program effectiveness, participation rates, and impact on employee and business performance. Generate reports on key learning metrics, such as completion rates, learner satisfaction, and program return on investment. Be responsible for the budget for training and development activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality training standards. Qualifications Minimum 7 years' experience in a Learning Professional role. Professional certifications (e.g., CPTM, CPTD, CLDP, CLS) are preferred. Solid understanding of financial markets and of LSEG's business solutions. Full understanding of the various business units within Operations and their specific training requirements. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of developing team and individual performance. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, various partners, including senior management, subject matter experts, and external partners. Experience in effective learning program evaluation, measurement, and reporting. Knowledge in Data Fluency, Analytics, and Storytelling is a must. Ability to influence stakeholders at a Senior or Executive level within a sophisticated, matrixed environment. Experience leading multiple projects and building high-performing teams. Ability to work under pressure and drive creative outcomes in ambiguous situations. Up-to-date knowledge of Learning & Development trends and industry standard methodologies.
