Position: E-Discovery Data AnalystKey Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for e-discovery platforms and legal database applications including document review systems, transcript management tools, and file transfer protocol (FTP) workspaces.
Develop an understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Set up database workspaces, manage user and group access within e-discovery platforms, transfer and process data, load files for review, conduct document productions, import third-party data, and perform data exports.
Offer direct or third-party user support while meeting strict deadlines and handling high-pressure situations
Monitor and manage compliance in matter tracking and database management systems.
Create documentation for best practices regarding legal technology tools when applicable.
Participate in technology testing and share feedback with management.
Project managed data processing tasks and other technical requests
Coordinate and manage end-to-end data processing workflows, ensuring timely delivery of e-discovery services in collaboration with stakeholders across multiple teams and time zones.
Audit and maintain compliance of the teams matter tracking and management system with internal protocols.
Support the team with day-to-day departmental operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience in a law firm, technology company or comparable industry a plus.
Basic project management skills a plus.
Experience in supporting end-users on various legal technology solutions, including automation tools preferred.
Understanding of relational databases, queries and tables required.
Flexibility to work at different times to support team members and ongoing project needs.
Expertise in standard business software applications such as Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; experience in document processing/document review platforms (such as Summation, Concordance, Relativity, Law, Venio One, etc.) a strong plus.
Experience with active directory and user group administration a plus.
Strong attention to detail, especially when working with sensitive legal data where accuracy is critical
Excellent communication skills able to interact confidently and professionally with stakeholders
A collaborative mindset team-oriented and willing to support colleagues when needed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts and holiday
