- Manage day-to-day operations at all manufacturing sites across the country.
- Maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.
- Introduce and implement continuous improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Oversee production schedules to align with customer demands and business needs.
- Guide plant managers to ensure consistency and goal alignment across all locations.
- Plan and optimize the national supply chain network, including production and distribution.
- Develop strategies for efficient supply chain operations.
- Manage inventory levels, demand planning, and material flow.
- Work closely with sales and finance teams to align supply chain activities with forecasts and targets.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and product distribution.
- Create cost-effective transportation plans to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies (e.g., customs, port authorities) as required.
- Drive procurement efforts for raw materials, packaging, and indirect expenses.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing standards and procurement policies.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across operations, supply chain, and logistics functions.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and performance excellence.
- Define clear goals for team members, provide feedback, and enable professional development.
- Actively participate in developing and executing operational strategies at a national level.
- Lead initiatives to improve production capacity and operational resilience.
- Manage budgets and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
- Promote a strong safety culture through regular training and by leading by example.
- Investigate incidents, implement corrective measures, and ensure prevention of similar issues.
- Champion initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs, using frameworks like Kaizen, Six Sigma, or TQM.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and technological enhancements.
- Lead efforts to overcome operational obstacles and maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Over 8 years of proven experience in operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multi-site operations.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and logistics.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect operations with long-term business goals.
- Operational Expertise: Skilled in driving efficiency through Lean or Six Sigma.
- Leadership & Coaching: Strong ability to lead, coach, and build motivated teams.
- Cost Optimization: Proven ability to lower costs without sacrificing quality or operational efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to guide teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
