- Lead end-to-end systems engineering efforts for Passenger Information Systems (PIS), including design, construction, rigorous testing, and final formal acceptance.
- Ensure all PIS architectural designs strictly adhere to established criteria and industry standards.
- Manage the full implementation cycle, including the deployment, commissioning, and validation of PIS infrastructure.
- Provide strategic direction to deployment, testing, and acceptance teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical coordination between international partners, vendors, and the customer to align project objectives.
- Interface with key project stakeholders to facilitate the seamless delivery of all contractual requirements.
- Execute hardware installations, system configurations, and Power-ON Self-Tests (POST), while maintaining operating systems and management tools.
- Proactively monitor application performance to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough investigations into system incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ranging from network configurations to account management.
- Deliver exceptional support and service to both internal and external customers, ensuring a high level of professional satisfaction.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and maintain a knowledge base of manuals and process documentation.
- Provide technical expertise for customer demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Product Management.
- Execute additional duties and strategic tasks as required to support evolving project needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, or other equivalent related courses.
- 3-5 years of technical experience Passenger Information System (incl PA systems) and implementation
- Good knowledge of system level monitoring, performance tuning
- Proficient in Windows and Linux Operating systems and productivity tools.
- Good communication skills, technical writing
- Good Leadership skills
- PA/PID Systems Engineer must have experience in PA/VA Design and have an understanding on:
- Public address (PA) and Background Music (BGM) System
- Emergency Voice Alarm (EVA) systems
- Line Audio Distribution
- IP-based audio networks
- Must have knowledge on Audio Engineering Fundamentals as follows:
- Sound Pressure Level (SPL) calculations
- Speaker Selection and coverage
- Acoustic considerations, Acoustic analysis and simulation tools
- Must have knowledge in:
- Fire alarm interface
- Paging console integration
- Redundancy and failover design
- Must have 3-5 practical experience in ELV/Audio/Communication Systems or similar fields.
- Must have practical experience in:
- Installing PA System equipment
- Cable Termination and Testing
- System Commissioning and Tuning
- Troubleshooting speaker lines and amplifier
- Documentation and as-built preparation
- Project based of 1 year renewable every year based on performance
- HMO and Group Life Insurance
- 5 days SIL after 1 year with NECPH
- With overtime pay
