- Schedule and manage appointments for midwife patient visits
- Handle appointment confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries
- Ensure schedules are accurate and well-organized
- Respond to patient questions via phone, email, or messaging
- Provide clear information about appointments and services
- Maintain a professional and friendly tone in all interactions
- Maintain and update patient records
- Assist with general front office tasks and coordination
- Support the team as patient volume grows over time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Available to work US time zone hours, specifically PST
- Experience with patient scheduling and front office coordination
- Hands-on experience with Athenahealth is highly preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling tools or EMR systems
- Experience in healthcare, OB-GYN, or midwifery support is preferred
- Customer service or front desk experience in a medical setting is preferred
- Experience supporting US-based clients is preferred
