As an IC Layout Designer , youll collaborate with a worldwide team, learn from the best minds in the industry, and design high-quality layouts that meet todays complex semiconductor challenges. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor new hires and interns and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the layout team. Key Responsibilities: Develop block or section level layouts with a focus on quality and efficiency. Collaborate with schematic designers, block layout engineers, and lead layout personnel to meet project milestones. Ensure design integrity and compliance with layout principles, reliability, and industry standards. Mentor and train new college engineers and interns, fostering team development. Contribute to layout process enhancements and best practice initiatives. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive analog block level layout experience Strong fundamental knowledge in semiconductor device physics, cross-section and construction Strong fundamental knowledge in layout principles, IC reliability and failure mechanisms Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso XL and Calibre verification tools is an advantage EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: BS Electronics or Electrical Engineering At least 2 years of relevant working experience ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Strong communications skills, both oral and written Able to work and effectively collaborate with a cross-functional and global team Layout experience in High Voltage, High-Speed Layouts, Switches, or Multiplexers is a plus. Familiarity with technology nodes such as 0.18m, 0.35m, or 40nm is an advantage. Work Arrangement and Travel: This role offers a hybrid work setup, combining onsite and remote work. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected for technical conferences, and team engagements.
