They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data used in decision-making, and for identifying key trends and insights that could impact investment performance. With their expertise and insights, Investment Supervisors provide valuable guidance to senior management and stakeholders, helping to steer their organization towards successful investment outcomes. Financial Reporting and Analysis Ensures thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness in the preparation and basic analysis of the financials of one or more divisions of Food Group to support reportorial requirements. These reports include but not limited to the following: Internal: BOD, EXCOM, MANCOM, etc. External: Banks, Government institutions, etc Prepares thorough, accurate, and timely ad hoc reports requiring basic analysis and coordination with requesting departments ensuring integrity and confidentiality of data. Ensures thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness of ad hoc reports requiring deeper analysis due to higher degree of complexity and confidentiality. Closely coordinates with different departments in the Food Group to ensure that relevant financial and operational information is reported and the integrity and confidentiality of the information is kept. Valuation and Investment Analysis Builds financial models and valuation cases, and performs investment analysis for expansions, new businesses, initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity, and mergers & acquisitions. Provides analytical support to Executives, Business Development team, Corporate Strategy team, and other operational teams across the Food Group. Conducts post-mortem analysis and investment lookback after achieving milestones of investment projects. Prepares presentation materials and presents investment analysis and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, and communicates key insights and findings in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that all parties have a thorough understanding of the investment strategy and potential risks and rewards. Capital Budgeting Assists in the preparation/updating of the 10-Year Warchest grounded on the Food Group strategy Collaborates with the Country Teams in gathering inputs/updates to the long-term forecasts Others Provides support to CFOs, COOs, Country Directors and Controllers, Mill Managers, and other executives, particularly in running financial and scenario analyses for both tactical and strategic initiatives. Provides research support to Treasury, and Risk & Commodity departments, particularly in data gathering and analysis of key economic indicators that are regularly monitored by the Food Group. Provides cash, debt, and working capital analysis for one or more divisions of the Food Group. Attends meetings and discussions related to the Finance Investments function, and participate in cross-functional teams as needed to provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Performs other financial analysis/tasks assigned by the AVP Finance Investments/VP Corporate Finance as needed or as business conditions change. Qualifications A graduate of any of the following degree: Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Industrial Engineering. Being a CPA is an advantage Strong preference for MBA/CFA charterholders or candidates At least five (5) years of investment banking/transaction advisory/deal advisory experience with a top tier bank or Big Four with involvement in M&A transactions, Due Diligence and Capital Raising Advance analytical, financial modeling a valuation skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Exceptional knowledge and interest in finance, economics, banking, and capital markets Strong project management skill and work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence Capacity to work well in a fast paced, changing environment with a high level of flexibility and minimal supervision Willing to travel and work with colleagues from the different operating sites in the Philippines and abroad if needed Proven ability to take control and manage tasks independently to closure Demonstrated self-starter, continuous learner and independent thinker who is results-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others Additional Information Reports to: AVP Investments Willing to work in Makati Hybrid work set-up Show more Show less
