The Robotics Engineer Intern will perform extensive research and work closely with the Project In-charge and the Robotics Engineer Lead in analyzing and developing a computer program for a robot unit performing tasks related to mail sorting and logistics. Key Responsibilities Conduct extensive research on robotics systems, particularly in manipulation, control, or computer vision. Develop innovative techniques and algorithms with the Robotics Engineer Lead to enhance the robot unit's capabilities. Monitor the real-time performance of the robot unit by providing commands and instructions through a control panel or computer interface. Assist in solving issues/problems related to robot functionality. Assist in creating computer programs to allow the robot to function specific tasks. Update the Robotics Engineer Lead and the Project In-charge from time to time regarding safety measures to prevent the robot from causing damage to itself or others when performing its tasks.
