Job Summary Report to the Project Safety-in-Charge and provide full assistance to the Project Management Team to ensure that the company complies with the OSH&E Policy and act as deputy Safety In-Charge in the absence of his site Safety Head. Job Duties and Responsibilities 1. Inspection, Monitoring and Surveillance Key Tasks i. Monitoring implementation of various safety program and procedures being enforced at site. ii. Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety and initiate corrective measures by responsible supervision. iii. Revalidation and ensure compliance of work plan with issued Work Permit/s. iv. Determine the required minimum Personal Protective Equipment applicable in the project and ensure its proper use at all times. v. Coordinate with the line supervision, employees and Subcontractors of existing and potential hazards to OSH&E. vi. Candidate as OSHEMS Internal Auditor of the company if appointed by the corporate SHED. 2. Information, Education and Communication i. Conduct Safety Moments in safety toolbox meetings. ii. Coordinate instructions cascaded by his immediate superior (Safety In-Charge). iii. Attend applicable Safety, Health & Environment meeting as required by the project Safety In-Charge. iv. Assist in promoting OSHE awareness and conduct site safety training to members of the Project Management Team and Subcontractors as required. 3. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control i. Assist Field Operation Group in the planning, Method Statements and Risk Assessment to identify and recommend appropriate action. 4. Reporting and Documentation i. Prepare and issue Safety Inspection Report (SIR). i. Prepare preliminary notification report for accident, near miss, and property damage and participate in the investigation. 5. Emergency Preparedness i. Monitor that adequate firefighting equipment is provided and maintained at work areas and offices/ facilities. ii. Monitor that suitable first aid facilities and trained persons are available at all places of work. iii. Participate in Emergency Drills and Simulation. Job Qualifications and Job Competencies Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (any course of engineer) Skills : Proficiency in safety procedures, Communication skills, Detail-oriented, Data analysis & Critical thinking skills. Basic Computer Skills in Spreadsheets Basic knowledge of Excel calculations, and chart creation Excel/Spreadsheets Advanced skills like pivot tables, complex formulas Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic Driving Skills. Experience: At least 3 years of Experience in OSHE Competencies List down your competencies. Graduated of 40-hours Construction Occupational Safety & Health Training.
