Job Overview:
This role is to fulfill the job opening for a Senior Manager to lead and drive the Digital Engineering Technology Competency for EY GDS Philippines Consulting Service Line. As key leader in the organization, this role will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of the competency to achieve growth and success of digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1) Team Management
  • Maintain an open and transparent communication with the team members
  • Lead and mentor high performing teams
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture
  • Developed specialized career paths to align with associates' aspiration
  • Drive talent acquisition, performance and development of the team to enhance competency through clearly defined metrics and objectives
2) Technical and Process Skills
  • 15+ years of deep process and technical experience with in-depth knowledge of digital transformation, cloud technologies, IOT, AI, and other emerging technologies.
  • Proven leader in various sectors across business domains like Government and Public Sector, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Insurance, Hospitality, etc. with strong experience in leading large-scale teams working with various geographical locations
  • Domain knowledge skills in Digital and Emerging Technologies focused on the following:
o Java, Spring boot, Apache, Flink/Cloud Flow, Apache Kafka, Hibernate
o Database: Dynamo DB, Cassandra, MySQL, Mongo DB
o Public Cloud Primary: AWS, Azure, GCP
o Experience working with Microservices, API Gateways, Event-driven, Streaming and designing APIs
o Containers: Docker, Container Orchestration: Kubernetes
o Webserver: Tomcat
o Build and Packaging Tools: Maven, Gradle
o Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
  • Strong understanding of Tools and Processes:
o SLDC Methodologies: Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
o Tools: Git, Azure DevOps, Prevent, Sonarqube, Junit, Mockito, CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, AquaSec, Mend3) Management responsibilitiesa) Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities contributing to revenue growth and market expansion within GDS and across EY
  • Work with pursuit and EY member firms to create solutions with compelling value propositions for clients
  • Develop business case, business KPIs and Benefits Realization plan and measure KPIs
b) Technology Excellence
  • Stay ahead of new technologies, industry best practices and market trends to hone the skills and capabilities of the competency
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies
  • Understand current IT environment and industry IT Trends to identify the engagement and client service issues
c) Client Engagement and Delivery Excellence
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges
  • Foster strong client relationships ensuring client satisfaction and delivery success through management and leadership of large scale engagements and projects with ability to run client status meetings and deliver executive level presentations that drive actions and decisions
d) Communication Management
  • Excellence communication and interpersonal skills with good command of the English language
  • Experience in communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations, using tools such as Powerpoint/Excel/Word/Visio
  • Must have presentation skills with ability to create presentations to communicate solution architect to various stakeholders
Education:
