Job Description SMDC's Marketing Department is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain web solutions that elevate our marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all digital platforms are engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for performance, while also driving innovation in SMDC's online presence. Key Responsibilities Website Development & Maintenance Build and maintain responsive websites and landing pages that align with SMDC's branding and marketing campaigns Update web content, plugins, and themes as needed UI/UX Implementation Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web pages with a focus on user experience. Ensure web designs are mobile-friendly and optimized for all devices. Performance Optimization Implement SEO best practices to improve search rankings. Optimize web pages for speed and scalability. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and the marketing team to deliver cohesive campaigns. Coordinate with IT and external vendors for technical support and integrations. Analytics & Reporting Monitor web performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights. Track and report on user behavior, engagement, and campaign success. Security & Compliance Ensure websites adhere to data privacy laws and industry standards. Monitor and address security vulnerabilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience as a Web Developer or similar role. Experience in developing websites for marketing purposes is a plus. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or React. Knowledge of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and tracking tools. Must be AWS Certified . Experience with APIs and third-party integrations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management.
