Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI
  • Perform complex data querying and manipulation using SQL (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Develop and maintain database programs and user interface/query software
  • Conduct data modeling, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Implement ETL processes and work with data integration tools
  • Apply predictive modeling, NLP, text analytics, and data mining techniques when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
  • Ensure adherence to Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Stewardship standards
  • Support data-driven decision-making through clear visualization and reporting
  • Work with Hadoop and NoSQL databases where applicable
  • Operate within UNIX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows environments as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or any related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience
  • Strong expertise in SQL for data querying and data manipulation
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy)
  • Experience with database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data modeling tools (e.g., ERWin, Enterprise Architect, Visio)
  • Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Stewardship practices
  • Experience with predictive modeling, data mining, NLP, and text analysis
  • Exposure to Hadoop and NoSQL databases is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
