This role includes gathering field data, setting out project alignments and elevations, and ensuring spatial accuracy of site development activities. The Surveyor plays a critical role in both pre-construction and construction phases of horizontal and infrastructure projects such as subdivisions, road networks, drainage systems, and residential housing. Key Responsibilities: Land and Construction Surveys Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys using total stations, GPS, levels, and other survey instruments. Conduct site measurements and layout work for roads, drainage, utilities, buildings, and property lines . Setting Out and Layout Set out exact locations and elevations for excavations, footings, columns, road alignments , and other structural elements. Ensure all layouts conform to approved plans, coordinates , and benchmarks . Data Collection and Analysis Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to determine elevations, distances, contours, and land features . Prepare survey notes, field sketches, and digital records accurately. Coordination with Project Teams Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, site supervisors , and contractors to ensure alignment of survey work with project plans. Provide technical support and clarification on site layout issues. Equipment Maintenance Maintain and calibrate survey instruments regularly to ensure precision and accuracy.
