Senior Internal AuditorDepartment: Global Governance, Estates, and ProcurementEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: PHL ManilaReporting To: Claire SavageDescriptionRole PurposeTo assist the Associate Director, Risk & Assurance with the planning and performance of audit assignments and risk assessments, including tests of control or tests of detail in line with the annual audit plan. This includes (but is not limited to) financial audits, IT audits, internal controls, operational performance, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, contracts, compliance with company policies and procedures and fraud investigations.Key ResponsibilitiesSummary

Performs audits in accordance with established CIIA methodology and within agreed timeframes.
Creates or assists in the creation of planning documentation, such as scoping assessments and audit programs.
Under limited supervision, performs audit procedures, such as interviews, identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting processes. Evaluates current auditing procedures and proposes changes as needed.
Prepares, or assists in the preparation of drafts of, audit reports which include the development of clear and constructive agreed management actions to address the risks identified.
Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
Supports the Associate Director, Risk & Assurance with reporting required for the Audit Committee.
Performs other related work or audit assistance as assigned by Associate Director, Risk & Assurance.
Develops and maintains productive (yet independent) relationships throughout the company and within the department.
Pursues professional development opportunities including external and internal training and professional association memberships and shares information gained with colleagues.

Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseWhat we are looking for in you

Professional qualifications - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIIA, CPA
Significant post qualification experience of working with global companies in an accounting or auditing capacity
Experience in undertaking internal audit reviews
Undergraduate degree

Effective interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both an internal and external audience
Strong written communication skills (including experience in report writing)
Strong organisational skills and the experience to continually prioritise and respond to the changing needs of the business
Strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities to identify the root cause and solutions and recommendations that effectively address business and control needs
Requires commitment to excellence and continual improvement
