Key Responsibilities:1. Manages the day-to-day operations of Multimedia Specialists.
2. Serves as a representative for design operations to Central Desk.
3. Serves as consultant for design for all titles under Inquirer including Lifestyle, CDN Digital and Bandera.
4. Develops user interface based on platform. Doing A/B testing for User experience to deliver the best user experience and engagements for site visitors.
5. Optimizes the front-end side of the application to ensure the smoothness of the presentation layer.
6. Ensures the technical standards for UI/UX and re-useable code for future expansion.
7. Collaborates with the content, web developer and adops team members to understand the requirements and measure timeline needed for design related tasks.
8. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.Education:

College Graduate, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or related courses.

Work Experience:

At least 5 years of work experience in web UI/UX related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Competencies and Skills:

Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3. Knowledge in Javascript and JS libraries.
Good with Photoshop and Illustrator to adjust images and icons.
Has experience with server-side pre-processing CSS such as SASS to build customizable look and feel for end users.
Understands the web standards and able to build responsive site.
Able to optimize frontend codes and study user behavior and their
interaction with the interface.
