Context:The position must ensure that SYSTRA is the top-of-mind of everybody, when it comes to the preparation of project concepts, investment business cases, feasibility studies, plans and drawings, technical reports, presentations, and proposals being undertaken by the company. Missions/Main Duties:Key Activities

Preparation of transport-related feasibility studies for public and private sector clients

Participate in transport planning exercises

Prepare and assist in the preparation of technical reports and proposals

Research and provide advice on best engineering solutions to meet project needs, budgets, and timeframes

Participate in data collection, site inspection, and survey work

Interact with clients (public and private sector)

Participate in value engineering/value analysis of proposed projects

Interact with experts from different fields of expertise and validate expert’s output for compliance with project requirements

Review plans, alignments, maps, specifications, cost estimates, and other work for accuracy, presentation, and conformance with established engineering practices

Assist in the preparation of written reports covering data/information gathered from research and field inspection

Interact with clients (public and private sector) and external consultants

Monitor and ensure team members’ participation in the preparation of conceptual design and design review of civil works and structures, including but not limited to viaducts, bridges, roads/highways, sidewalks, drainage, buildings, etc.

Monitor and ensure team members’ participation in the preparation of plans/drawings for projects, tabulate field data, design improvement plans, and specifications

Ensure accurate/compliant designs through application of relevant standards and building codes

Assist in the preparation of plans and write-up for right-of-way acquisition

Profile/Skills:Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements

Proven working experience as a project development specialist;

Proven track record on wins and interpersonal relationships with government agencies (DOTR, DPWH) and other consulting firms;

Experience in customer support is a plus;

Proficiency in English;

Communication and negotiation skills;

Ability to build rapport; and

Time management and planning skills.

Educational Requirements

BSc in Engineering, Architecture, Economics, or other related course.
Master's degree is an advantage.
