- Develop and execute a comprehensive site security plan that aligns with Allegro's corporate security standards and addresses local risks.
- Oversee all day-to-day security operations, including access control, perimeter security, patrol schedules, and monitoring activities.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the security department, including personnel, equipment, and services.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the in-house or contracted security team, ensuring they are well-trained, professional, and effective in their duties.
- Develop and implement training programs for security personnel on topics such as emergency response, conflict resolution, and use of security technology.
- Foster a culture of vigilance, integrity, and customer service within the security team.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and upgrading of all physical security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, intrusion detection alarms, and communication equipment.
- Stay current with advancements in security technology and recommend improvements to enhance the site's security posture.
- Lead or oversee investigations into all security-related incidents, such as theft, vandalism, or policy violations.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented, investigated, and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports for site leadership and corporate security.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Professional security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP) are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Preferably from semiconductor and electronics industry handling and overseeing security and with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and emergency response plans.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of physical security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and investigation techniques.
- Strong technical proficiency with modern security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Expertise in crisis management and emergency response coordination.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Strong crisis management and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
