💼 Role: Director - Learning and DevelopmentWhy This Role ExistsEastvantage has reached an inflection point. With rapid growth across five countries, 13 supported languages, and an increasingly diverse service portfolio, our Learning & Development function needs a dedicated owner who can close the gap between our ambition and our execution.Today, L&D initiatives are distributed across teams without a single accountable driver. Programs stall. Content becomes outdated. Execution is inconsistent across geographies. We need someone who does not wait for permission, builds systems instead of slide decks, and treats AI as a production tool — not a novelty.This is not a role where you manage a team of trainers. This isa role where you are the team. You own the strategy. You build the content. You run the programs. You measure the results. And you do it at a pace and quality that only someone who truly understands how to leverage AI-powered tools can sustain.What You'll Do:1. L&D Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the annual L&D roadmap aligned with business goals
- Conduct skills gap analysis in close collaboration with department heads and leaders across teams and geographies
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact and scalability
- Design and produce training content (e-learning, ILT, microlearning, assessments, onboarding)
- Use AI tools as core production infrastructure (LLMs, design, video/audio tools)
- Build reusable templates and prompt libraries for scalable content creation
- Adapt and localize content for multi-geo and multi-language delivery - Philippines, India, Morocco and Bulgaria
- Deliver leadership development, upskilling, and cross-functional training
- Manage LMS platforms (content, tracking, certifications, reporting)
- Collaborate with operations, delivery teams and client success teams to identify training needs
- Translate business challenges into learning solutions
- Present quarterly impact reports linking L&D to business KPIs to senior leadership.
- Define success metrics and build performance dashboards
- Conduct post-training evaluations (Kirkpatrick Levels 1–3 at minimum) and improve programs
- Benchmark L&D maturity against industry standards
- Manage external vendors, tools or certifications where needed
- Own L&D budget and optimize cost vs impact
- 8+ years in L&D, Talent Development, or Organizational Development (3+ years in BPO/outsourcing preferred)
- Proven experience building or transforming L&D functions
- Strong instructional design expertise (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
- Ability to operate independently and deliver end-to-end programs
- Experience with LMS platforms and program management across geographies
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Experience in multi-country BPO environments is a plus
- Certifications (ATD, CIPD, etc.) and analytics experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Philippine BPO talent landscape and emerging skill requirements.
- Experience with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for content creation and curriculum design
- Use of AI-powered design tools (Canva AI, Gamma, etc.) for training materials
- Familiarity with AI video/audio tools (Synthesia, HeyGen, etc.)
- Ability to build prompt libraries and scalable workflows
- Strong judgment to evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs
