Ensure compliance with government and company safety regulations
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures by outlining rules and expectations about safety in your business. Ensure that drivers and mechanics know what is expected of them and to keep a safe behavior enforcement
Conduct safety training for drivers, mechanics and other employees that are efficient and relevant to the business needs.
Ensure maintenance and inspection of vehicles and equipment
Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions
Coordinate with insurance and legal departments on claims and litigation and assist with the investigations
Manage drug and alcohol testing programs for drivers
Monitor driver behavior and performance to identify areas for improvement
Maintain records and reports related to safety and compliance
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and industry associations.

Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
With at least five (5) years of work-related experience in Logistics, trucking or Machinery/Factory Plants
At least one (1) year experience in a leadership role
Knowledgeable of current standards on OSHA for trucking and logistics
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Good decision-making abilities
