Job Title: Chinese English Translator/Coordinator Location: Makati City Job Type: Full - Time Salary Offer: Php 75,000/month We are looking for a talented individual to fill the role of Chinese-English Verbal Translator. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate seamless communication between our Chinese-speaking clients and English-speaking staff. The successful candidate will possess strong language skills in both Chinese and English, along with excellent verbal communication abilities. Responsibilities: 1. Provide real-time verbal translation services during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions between Chinese-speaking clients and English-speaking staff. 2. Ensure accuracy and clarity in translating spoken content from Chinese to English and vice versa, maintaining the integrity of the original message. 3. Assist in the preparation and distribution of translated documents and materials as needed. 4. Act as a cultural liaison, helping to bridge communication gaps and promote understanding between parties from different linguistic backgrounds. 5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication strategies and solutions are implemented across the organization. 6. Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events, as required. 7. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to clarify translation requirements, address feedback, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations. 8. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and procedures. 9. Translate a variety of documents, including but not limited to business correspondence, reports, contracts, technical manuals, and marketing materials, from Chinese to English and vice versa. 10. Financial Arrangements: Assist clients with understanding the financial aspects of IVF, including insurance coverage, payment plans, and financing options. Coordinate billing and payment arrangements as needed. 11. Coordination with Medical Team: Act as a liaison between clients and the medical team, ensuring that clients receive the necessary medical guidance and care. Relay client concerns and questions to healthcare professionals. 12. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for client's needs and preferences within the IVF process, ensuring that their concerns are addressed, and their interests are considered. 13. Consent and Documentation: Oversee the completion of necessary consent forms, legal documents, and medical records for each client. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. 14. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all IVF-related processes adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Keep up to date with changes in fertility treatment regulations. 15. Coordination of Third-Party Services: Facilitate arrangements with third-party providers, such as egg/sperm when necessary. Ensure all parties involved are well-informed and coordinated. 16. Client Confidentiality: Maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding client information and medical records. 17. Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress. Generate reports on success rates, treatment outcomes, and client satisfaction. 18. Patient Experience Enhancement: Seek ways to improve the client experience within the IVF company, such as enhancing communication channels or providing additional support services. Qualifications: Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with exceptional verbal communication skills in both languages. Proven experience in verbal translation, preferably in a business or professional setting. Strong understanding of Chinese and English grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. Excellent listening skills and the ability to convey messages accurately and effectively. Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to navigate cultural nuances in communication. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in translation, languages, or a related field preferred.
