- Develop and execute strategies to grow our client base across Australia, New Zealand, and other global markets, focusing on small to medium enterprises.
- Manage the sales team in preparing outreach campaigns, proposals, and pitches to win new business.
- Lead client-facing meetings or presentations, especially with high-potential accounts.
- Ensure consistent pipeline growth and conversion by monitoring sales activities and results.
- Foster long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients to support account retention and upselling opportunities.
- Directly manage a team of Sales professionals.
- Provide coaching, performance reviews, and hands-on support to help the team meet KPIs and targets.
- Align sales efforts with company goals and regularly report on team metrics, wins, and areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and events that drive lead engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client behaviours across the AU/NZ offshoring space.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance positioning and sales messaging.
- Recommend process improvements to optimise outreach, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Work closely with the Recruitment and Operations teams to ensure client expectations are well-communicated and delivered.
- Maintain smooth handovers from sales to client onboarding, ensuring seamless client experience.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales strategy, or client acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management role—preferably within the outsourcing, offshoring, BPO, or professional services industry.
- Proven track record of driving new business, building strong client relationships, and achieving or exceeding sales targets—particularly within the Australian and New Zealand SME markets.
- Strategic and proactive thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset; someone who takes initiative, works with urgency, and consistently finds ways to create opportunities.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and confident in navigating ambiguity—an all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire, manage, and grow a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a natural ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (Recruitment, Marketing, Operations).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Certifications in sales, business development, or strategic management (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, HubSpot Sales, Strategic Business Development) are a strong plus.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), MS Office, and other tools relevant to business development and lead tracking.
- Experience working with or supporting Australian clients is highly preferred.
- Must have a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a 'get things done' attitude.
