Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for project-level accounting within the EPC business. This includes managing month-end close activities and project-level financial economics. You'll support the accounting for Project Control's operations, assist the FP&A team with financial analyses, and help the GL team with month-end tasks like manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Processing:Review project economics, assets, and ongoing construction activities.Oversee batch entries, manual journal entries (MJEs), and account reconciliations.Analyze balance sheets and P&L reports on a project-by-project basis.Ensure project margin accuracy and work with operations to resolve any discrepancies.Review audit requirements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.Team and Project Collaboration:Collaborate with the Section Manager to achieve corporate objectives.Lead alignment meetings to address issues and improve processes.Participate in system upgrades and migration projects.Ongoing Operations:Interface regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.Prepare numerous financial, performance, and compliance reports to support decision-making and regulatory requirements.Adapt to a constantly changing environment, contributing to process improvements and system upgrades.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Certifications: CPA, CMA, or other accounting certifications are preferred.Experience:Extensive experience in various accounting areas, including general accounting, with a deep understanding of business end-to-end processes and business economics analysis.Preferably, over 5 years of experience in the full accounting cycle and prior experience managing people.Skills:Highly analytical with a sharp attention to detail.The ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborating effectively at all organizational levels.
