Auto Electrician

• Responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in automotive vehicles.
• Mainly jobs/tasks to inspect and repair electrical parts/components to maintain their functionality to ensure/provide the optimum condition of the vehicles at all times.
• Determines malfunction of electrical by visual inspection and other use of testing tools/devices such as voltmeter and ammeter tester.
• Test and repair starter motor and other electrical system.
• Repair and replace defective wiring in ignition, air conditioning, and control system vehicles.
• Operates all tools or testing equipment in a safe manner.
• Diagnoses difficult electrical problems and repair.
• Accommodates the complaints of the operator properly about the problem encountered by the vehicle concerning the electrical system and other electrical components.
• Suggest/recommends parts purchase and requisition.
• Coordinates to superior any work activities and settings of priorities.
• Perform any tasks assigned to the superior concerning the demands of the section.
• Install electrical equipment such as gauges, lightings, alternator, starter motors and other electrically operated accessories.
• Maximizes all resources to minimize cost.
• Provides minor or major service repair either on-site or on the field for any electrical issues of the vehicle.
• Repair and charge refrigerant to any air conditioning system of the vehicle.
