Only applications that follow all instructions in this job description will be considered.About the Role: We are looking for a Social Media Content & Video Editor to join our growing education brand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys video editing, creating simple yet engaging designs, and staying on top of social media trends. You'll be producing short-form educational videos, designing thumbnails, managing our posting schedule, and helping us explore AI tools to make our content creation process more efficient.Key Responsibilities
1. Video EditingProficiency in Adobe Premier Pro, CapCut and Final Cut Pro, are a plus.Add captions, branding, and repurpose videos for social media posting
2. DesignCreate thumbnails and graphics in CanvaEnsure all visuals follow brand style guidelines
3. Publishing & SchedulingUpload and schedule content using toolsWrite optimized captions, choose hashtags, and schedule posts for best reach
4. AI & WorkflowResearch and suggest AI tools for editing, captioning, and analyticsAssist in building our AI BrewTeam system
5. Collaboration and Attention to DetailStart your application with “I have a can-do attitude” so we know you read the full job descriptionSupport occasional filming needs, including during our November 2025 RetreatProvide weekly updates and share insights from performance dataWork closely with the teamRequirementsStrong skills in video editing (ADOBE PREMIER PRO IS REQUIRED)Familiar with Canva for basic design work.Good grasp of social media platforms (TikTok, IG, YouTube, FB, LinkedIn).Basic knowledge of AI tools for content creation (or open & eager to learn).Strong communication, detail-oriented, and able to follow structured workflows.Stable internet connection + good working laptop.Nice-to-HavesExperience with AI video toolsFamiliarity with workflow/automation tools like Notion, Metricool, or Zapier/MakeBackground in education, edtech, or e-learning contentBasic knowledge of motion graphics or animationUnderstanding of social media analytics to track performance and suggest improvementsPAID TRIAL ASSESSMENT: To evaluate skills and fit, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid trial:
1. Video Task - Edit a 2-minute teaching clip
2. Design Task - Create a matching thumbnail on Canva
