The position is responsible for coordinating with internal and external architectural and engineering consultants involved in the design of a project. It includes supervising the interpretation and development of concepts, with emphasis on construction systems, building codes, cost efficiency, and constructability. The role also ensures coordination among all disciplines, suppliers, and contractors to translate the design intent into the actual project. Responsibilities: Manage structural consultants in executing design in line with the approved intent and budget. Assist in developing detailed structural designs for a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Conduct load calculations and energy analysis to ensure system performance for site verification as needed. Create detailed drawings, diagrams, and specifications for MEPFS systems for designer/consultant's approval. Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure structural designs are seamlessly integrated with other building systems. Prepare engineering construction documentations. Perform safety assessments, risk evaluations, and structural inspections to identify potential issues or hazards. Ensure systems comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Provide technical assistance during bidding (as owner's representative). Visit and supervise actual accomplishment of the projects. Monitor progress and resolve issues or challenges related to the structural systems during construction. Maintain accurate records of designs, changes, and technical documentation.
