
Payroll Analyst

- Strong experience in Labor legislation for ASPAC.
- Supports multi-country payroll to have an effective operational model in compliance with company policies as well as statutory and legal requirements.
- Execution of tasks and assigned deliverables for project activities initiated by Payroll GPO, Global Services and non-payroll entities (HR, Finance etc).
- Conducts assigned tasks pertaining to User Acceptance Testing and verification of system changes.
- Ability to perform reporting and reconciliation.
- Highly detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Executes, in accordance with globally established standards, processes for SOX compliance, internal controls, and required regulatory/statutory requirements (including payroll record data maintenance).
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with J&J policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies.
- Updates and maintain payroll process and administration documentation.
- Identifies and raises continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
- Supports cross-functional projects with payroll dependency.
- Supports and resolves payroll related inquiries.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in HR or Finance operation is required.
- Knowledge of SAP desirable.
- Knowledge of payroll processing is preferred (processes, regulations, vendor landscape, etc.).
- Knowledge of payments to third-party entities, social security organizations, and taxes.
- Strong English language verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Research and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to execute tactically, quickly adapt to situations, and address day-to-day operational challenges with minimal supervision.
- Cultural awareness and an ability to work with a multitude of people across multiple markets assigned.
- Knowledge and/or experience with the Leading Third-Party Payroll Providers (ADP, KPMG, NGA, SDWorx, etc.), e-Time, Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP, Workday is preferred.
- Prior experience in a multi-national company, and/or experience in a Finance/HR Shared Services preferred.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and proficiency with Compliance requirements (SOX and Business Controls) is required.
Reviews and ensures wage expenses are allocated to the appropriate department.
Reviews employee expense reports for policy compliance and flags policy violations to be corrected.
Researches and resolves payroll issues, and responds promptly to all payroll-related questions from employees.
Reviews, reconciles, and balances payroll and benefits data for varying and monthly payroll.
Maintains accurate records, updates and monitors retirement, salary, benefits, and position control.
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
