Senior Engineer - C# / .Net3 days per week in Manila OfficeCBTR is hiring on behalf of a client in the financial services space for a Senior Engineer with strong C# .Net experience to join a team building and supporting critical post-trade systems.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on enterprise-scale applications, real-time messaging, and complex workflows in a fast-paced trading environment. You'll be joining a team focused on post-trade affirmation and confirmation processing, with plenty of scope to work across engineering, cloud, DevOps and architecture.What you'll be doingYou'll help design, develop and maintain applications that support high-value post-trade workflows and real-time message processing.Day to day, you'll be involved in:Developing and enhancing enterprise applications in C#/.NETBuilding message consumption, transformation and publishing capabilitiesSupporting post-trade affirmation and confirmation workflowsMaintaining high engineering standards through testing and code reviewsSupporting deployments and helping investigate production issues where neededWorking closely with architecture and DevOps teamsContributing to Agile delivery in a SaFe/Scrum environmentMentoring more junior engineers in the teamCollaborating with teams across multiple regionsYou'll likely bring:Strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET and JavaA background in banking, trading, or financial services technologyExperience building server-side enterprise applicationsStrong XML experience, including data consumption, manipulation and publishingGood SQL Server knowledge, including complex queriesExperience working with AWS, ideally EC2 and/or EKSFamiliarity with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CDStrong problem-solving skills and a detail-focused approachExperience working in Agile teamsNice to have:Post-trade confirmation or affirmation workflow experienceKnowledge of STP, clearing, or trade messagingExposure to FIX Protocol or FIX enginesExperience with Solace or TibcoKnowledge of electronic trading or market data platformsFamiliarity with GrafanaExperience with CucumberExposure to Terraform or AnsibleExperience with Kubernetes / AWS EKS
