This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Prepare and file payroll tax returns for expatriate employees.Ensures compliance with local and international tax regulations.Maintains accurate records of expatriate tax data and statutory reports.Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to ensure accurate and timely processing of expatriate tax-related activities.Assists with payroll audits and provide supporting documentation and analysis.Stays updated on the latest developments and trends in expatriate tax legislation and best practices.Identifies and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Handles manual payroll inputs and reconciliations for expatriate employees.Provides expatriate population data to external tax service providers such as KPMG.Manages the tax equalization funding process and ensure approvals are followed.About YouWe know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people. Applications from motivated and talented individuals with a keen interest in the energy industry are encouraged.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in payroll or expatriate taxation.Strong understanding of internal financial controls and data privacy policies.Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong interest and ability to learn new systems and tools.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Workday, AssignmentPro, and Alteryx is a plus.Familiarity with expatriate tax processes and regulations.Proficiency in using digital tools to automate manual processes.Others:Willing to work at Makati City, Philippines office on night shift.Everything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way (https://www.chevron.com/about/the-chevron-way).
