A multinational engineering and consultancy firm specializing in railway sector is currently looking for Sr Communications System Engineer (permanent) to be based in Quezon City as part of its expansion locally: Work schedule- Mon to Fri (on site daily); usual dayshift schedule RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to engineer and manage any railway and/or MRT/LRT Communication system (IP-PBX, CCTV, Public Address, Electronic clock, Trunked Radio, UPS, Data Transmission, Maintenance Management System, etc.) Ability to understand the functions and operation principles of Railway Communication system Reviews and updates the engineering design documents, construction drawings and manufacturing documents A wide-management and/or onsite experience in the Communication construction and installation Knowledgeable in IP communication and Serial communication protocol design Good project-management and documentation experience and can create engineering documents, reports and official letters Ensure that the Communications and all related documents are in compliance with the railway&aposs Contract, Performance Requirements and all applicable standards Coordinates with client, stakeholders and all parties involved to ensure project progress Interface and collaborate with sub-systems engineers and third parties for design and implementation Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time QUALIFICATIONS: At least 5-10 years' working experience in Communication system construction and project management in any railway industry or other related field Project Management Experience is an advantage Candidate must possess a bachelor&aposs degree in Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering or equivalent Proficient in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) With good English-communication skills Show more Show less
