- E-commerce Strategy Development: work with Head of D2C Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on increasing online sales, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of 10 ecommerce websites, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance. Regularly update content, product listings, and promotional materials to reflect the latest offerings and marketing campaigns.
- User Experience Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze websites traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement. Implement enhancements to the user experience, navigation flow, and checkout process to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.
- Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate e-commerce initiatives with digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Coordinate efforts to drive traffic to the websites and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments such as inventory and supply chain and customer service teams to ensure smooth working of all aspects of a site.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to websites traffic, sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement. Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ownership of Web Development Agency Relationship: Act as the primary point of contact (POC) and maintain relationships with the web development agency, overseeing project communication, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the websites, liaising with IT and web development teams to resolve issues promptly. Ensure websites security, data privacy compliance, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in e-commerce management, website administration
- Strong understanding of Shopify e-commerce platform
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CRM software, and digital marketing platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and SEO best practices is a plus.
