- National Impact Advisory: Provide expert guidance on compliance issues that have a national scope, ensuring a unified response across all TBG power generation companies
- Escalation Management: Act as the primary point for escalating complex regulatory concerns from regional teams that require a national or group-wide resolution.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with COM, Legal, and O&M teams to ensure that national-level regulatory requirements are correctly interpreted and applied by all relevant process owners.
- Strategic Monitoring: Track national agencies (DOE, ERC,NGCP, etc.) for new policies or directives that impact the energy industry as a whole.
- Centralized Knowledge Management: Maintain a structured repository of all national policy updates and regulatory issuances for the benefit of the entire TBG.
- Business Impact Briefings: Draft high-level policy briefs and recommendations for leadership regarding the strategic implications of national regulatory shifts.
- National Representation: Lead and support participation in national public consultations, technical working groups (TWGs), and regulatory hearings.
- Relationship Management: Maintain professional relationships with national government agencies (e.g., PEMC, IEMOP, PSALM) and industry associations.
- Advocacy Intelligence: Monitor industry-wide submissions and competitor filings to inform the direction of TBG's national advocacy.
- National Risk Oversight: Identify strategic regulatory risks at the national level and propose protective measures or "cures" to mitigate business exposure.
- IMS Compliance: Ensure all national-level compliance activities align with the Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
- Has expert knowledge in laws, regulations, and permit procedures for government agencies and LGUs
- Has knowledge of legal documentation procedures and requirements
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills
- At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in regulatory affairs, policy research, compliance, or energy sector analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, or Law. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a significant advantage.
