Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native data platforms leveraging Databricks, dbt, Kafka, and cloud services.
Operationalize data and machine learning pipelines with CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and monitoring aligned to DataOps and MLOps practices.
Automate pipeline deployment and manage environment changes using GitLab and integrated testing frameworks.
Ensure pipelines meet performance, quality, and security standards, incorporating audit, lineage, and monitoring controls.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Risk, Engineering, and IT Operations to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data and ML environments.
Support platform upgrades, incident response, and initiatives that enhance platform maturity and resilience.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred certifications include dbt, Databricks, Confluent Kafka, Cloud (Azure/AWS), and GitLab CI/CD.
Over 10 years of professional experience, including proven leadership in DataOps and MLOps.
Strong skills in dbt, Databricks, Kafka, orchestration tools, Python, SQL, CI/CD practices, infrastructure-as-code, and containerization; familiarity with banking data governance and compliance frameworks is a plus.
Demonstrated competencies in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, responsibility, results focus, and leadership, with increasing expertise expected across junior to lead roles.
